Endorsements, Inner Taraval Corridor Edition Part 2!
Do you eat meat? Do you live in San Francisco? Would you like to support an almost-70-year-old business in my neighborhood? Then you should check out Guerra Meat! They have $5 delivery, high-quality meat and fish, a grocery, a beautiful deli, and super dank sandos, which I fully recommend if you're into really nice bread made out of wheat--which I, unfortunately, am not, but I have fond memories. I also have more recent fond memories of going into the store, which is small and lovely and I go there so often the butchers know my name, which makes me feel like a million bucks.
branzino from Guerra, everything else from Parkside!
Down the street from Guerra is The San Francisco Wine Trading Company, open for curbside pickup and delivery in San Francisco! I don't really know much about wine, so we basically just get whatever has a pretty or funny label (like the Wonderwall syrah I can't find a link to!). They also have non-wine alcohols and their staff is friendly and helpful and they laugh politely at my wine jokes.
Also, in the same Taraval corridor, is Dr. Joseph Basso's Podiatry office, which I've never been to and I don't know anything about EXCEPT THAT it's my very favorite neighborhood storefront. I mean, look at that. I want to live there.
Okay, please stay safe and support your favorite local businesses!!
